Ways to Get Involved

Financial Donations

Kids have a lot of needs. Though foster families receive a stipend to offset the cost of things like clothing, food, school supplies etc., it’s often not nearly enough. Many kids entering foster care come with only the clothes on their back. Your financial donation helps us meet the direct physical needs of our foster families during what can often be a difficult transition for the child

Clothes and hardgoods

Do you have gently used clothing or toys you are no longer using? You can donate those items to New Mercy Outreach to help support foster families and children, like care packages for new placements.

Don’t have anything lying around to give? That’s okay, check out our wishlist to find items you can donate anytime. It may seem small to you, but these little comforts provide a sense of normalcy in a chaotic time.  

Volunteer Time

Whether it’s once a year or weekly, the gift of your time is a massive asset to New Mercy’s mission. Our volunteers help collect and organize donations, provide tutoring and child care services, prepare meals, help with rides and so much more.
